Many may not be shocked that Obama won due to vote counts. Mitt Romney could not even fill-up a room with supporters during the primaries yet was able to steal the Republican nomination. It maybe more of a shock that he could not then manage to do the same thing in the general election given the fact that we ignorantly allow our votes to be counted and recorded in complete secrecy within computer programs.
It turns out that the leadership of the Republican Party for the second cycle in a row used the 2008 playbook of shoving the most liberal and unpopular candidate in the field down the throats of republican voters in order to facilitate another easy win for Obama.
Until the majority of the American people see that we have nothing but a 2-headed, 1-party political system of elitists working together, behind the scenes, to do whatever it takes to get their man elected, nothing will ever change in a positive direction.
As over a million registered Republicans left the party after the 2008 primaries and the coronation of John McCain, you would think that millions more will finally stand-up on principle and their core values and leave in droves again. Can the GOP really pull this off again in 2016?
The truth of the matter is that the mainstream media lied all along regarding the electability of Ron Paul. The general election of 2012 is all the proof you may need. On many occasions, they hid parts of their own polling data and lied about the size of his crowds in order to try to maintain the completely fabricated myth that he was supposedly the most unelectable.
The most popular Republican candidate since Ronald Reagan should have rightly won the Republican nomination. His appeal may be broader than any candidate in our history as he brought together the left, right and center under the banner of liberty with responsibility and peace. How could you have expected any of his supporters to vote for the very candidate that was not even gracious to them even after it was obvious that he had the nomination wrapped-up and would not even allow their voices to be heard at the national convention?
You don’t play a tribute video of one of the most popular political figures in our day when the gentleman from Texas was still alive and well, perfectly able to make his own appearance and his own speech. You don’t continue to cheat after the plurality of delegates in 6 states turned in his nomination paperwork in accordance with the party’s own rules (see video) and then not allow him to give his guaranteed 15-minute speech or even officially have his name entered into nomination. You don’t refuse to even acknowledge his votes during the roll call vote. You don’t literally hold some of his delegates hostage on a bus and drive them around Tampa so you can push through rules changes via teleprompters. You don’t literally have bones broken at state conventions in order to muscle your way to the nomination. You just don’t do all that and so much more, then expect victory in November!
So if you want to blame voters for refusing to support Mitt Romney in the general election…..Shame on you! Where were your voices when all the cheating was going on to push such an unpopular liberal Republican that he could not even bring in a decent crowd at any stop along the primary campaign trail? Where were you when all the lies and distortions in the media were so obviously perpetrated against a rare statesman that even a 5th grader could see it was wrong? You sat on your couches and watched a nomination boldly stolen right before your eyes and did nothing at all to protest the injustice.
If you are silly enough to buy into blaming good alternative candidates for supposedly stealing votes away from Mitt Romney; I would suggest getting a clue! Just how is it possible to steal a vote away from someone that never had your vote to begin with? You would think at some point, people would use a little common sense to realize the entire argument is complete hogwash! Most Americans that voted for alternative candidates would never have voted for either Mitt Romney or Barack Obama, anyway. They would have either left that choice blank on their ballot or joined the millions that simply stayed home on election night.
Because of unconstitutional ballot access laws, voters in 6 states did not even have an option of writing anyone in. Many of us chose the ONLY true Conservative on our ballots, former Congressman Virgil Goode. Yes, I slept like a baby afterwards because I stood-up and voted in accordance with my principles and beliefs just like back in 2008 after casting the first non-Republican vote of my life for Pastor Chuck Baldwin. Did I throw away my votes on candidates that could not win? Well, right back at you! Both John McCain and Mitt Romney proved on election night that they absolutely could not win either.
For a country that used to act like a Christian nation and had a multitude that used to defend our US Constitution, one can scarcely find a true Christian/Constitutionalist Voter across our land. If you want to help save America, maybe it starts with realizing that the real problem could have something to do with the person staring right back at you in the mirror.
Unfortunately, we will all inevitably reap what so many have sewn if our nation does not turn from its unprincipled ways and stand-up for the sanctity of life, liberty and justice for all. Plugging your nose and voting for any old thing, just doesn’t cut it for many American voters. Don’t say I didn’t try to warn you.
