Holiday Lights at the Beach
Now through Tuesday, Jan. 1. Drive down the Boardwalk and enjoy holiday light displays. For admission prices, see the event website.

Holiday Boutique and Sale
Now through Saturday, Dec. 22. The Artists Gallery will hold its annual Holiday Boutique. The exhibition features works of art created for holiday gift-giving, including jewelry, paintings, drawings, ceramics, glass, and more.

Hanukkah
Sunday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 16. Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the re-dedication of the Jerusalem Temple in 165 BCE. For more about this holiday, read “Hanukkah” and “Hanukkah in Virginia Beach.”

A Holiday Musical Journey
Monday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. The USAF Heritage of America Band will perform a free holiday concert at the Sandler Center.

Winter Wonderland
Thursday, Dec. 13 through Monday, Dec. 31 (Closed Dec. 25). Hunt Club Farm will present a holiday event with a live animal nativity, petting zoo, light displays, marshmallow roasting, Santa’s workshop, and more. See the event website for hours and admission.

“Joy to the World”
Friday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at Virginia Beach United Methodist Church. The Beach Tones will present a musical program followed by lunch. RSVP to 757-428-7727 by noon on Dec. 12.

Toys for Tots Concert
Friday, Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Tallwood High School. The Ken Ebo Jazz Orchestra will perform its 2nd Annual Toys for Tots Concert. Admission is free, with a suggested donation for Toys for Tots.

Holiday Melody: The Tradition
Friday, Dec. 14 through Sunday, Dec. 16 at the Sandler Center. Virginia Musical Theatre will perform a show filled with song, dance, and holiday spirit. See the event website for ticket information.

Christmas Cookie Sale
Saturday, Dec. 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Heritage United Methodist Church. The United Methodist Women of Heritage will hold their 12th Annual Christmas Cookie Sale to support missions.

Living Nativity
Saturday, Dec. 15 and Sunday, Dec. 16 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Bayside Presbyterian Church will present its annual live nativity. This free event will include live performers, a camel, a donkey, sheep, carolers, and refreshments.

Christmas Concert
Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. Nimmo United Methodist Church will present “Two Nights Before Christmas,” a Christmas concert. Call 757-427-1765 for more information.

“Season of Joy”
Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. Virginia Beach United Methodist Church will present a Christmas program featuring the Notabells Handbell Choir, Children’s Choirs, and Chamber, Sanctuary and Youth Choirs with Orchestra.

“Mary, Did You Know”
Sunday, Dec. 16 at 10 a.m. at Heritage United Methodist Church. Heritage United Methodist Church’s Chancel Choir will present “Mary, Did You Know,” a Christmas Cantata.

Holiday POPS!
Sunday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sandler Center. The Virginia Symphony will perform a holiday concert featuring traditional carols and seasonal songs. See the event website for ticket information.
