“Two and a Half Men” star Angus T. Jones has spoke out on what he now believes is the show’s evil ways calling the popular sitcom “ungodly filth’ and urging viewers to stop watching according to the TMZ reports on Monday, Nov. 26.
Young, who stars as Jake on the long running comedy sitcom stated in a newly released video on You Tube for the Forerunner Christian Church, that the show is nothing but “filth” that contradicts his deep Christian values, and has urged all his fans to stop watching the show.
Angus T. Jones, who at age 19, is paid a huge salary of $350,000 an episode has recently revealed that he has recommitted to his faith and said, “If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching ‘Two and a Half Men.'”
The teen television star added, “I’m on Two and a Half Men and I don’t want to be on it.
Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television and especially with what you watch on television … it’s bad news.”
Angus T. Jones has also suggested that Satan is somehow involved with the “Two and a Half Men” show, something that is probably not going to sit well with the show’s writer Chuck Lorre, but most likely has former “Men” star Charlie Sheen smirking like a mad man somewhere today.
Jones continues, “If I am doing any harm, I don’t want to be here. I don’t want to be contributing to the enemy’s plan … You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can’t. I’m not OK with what I’m learning, what the bible says and being on that television show.”
Angus revealed that he has now turned back to religion after he realized that his life was on a “downward trend” that begun by admitting to his use of weed starting in his junior year in high school (a cousin turned him on to it, he said) and dropping acid in his senior year, around the time he bought a cool car and got some speeding tickets. In separate testimony given in October, he noted that he never drank and is still a virgin according to the La Times.
“I was just kind of on a downward trend, living for myself, really not concerning myself with family, anything outside of what was helping me out,” he said in his most recent testimony. Even some charitable work he did at the time — “throwing money” at problems — didn’t feel right, he said.
Reps for the CBS show told CNN “no comment” on Jones’ remarks.
