Last night’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 premiere was the final Hollywood event for the Twilight series.
For the fifth year in a row, Stephenie Meyer and her Twilight leads Kristen Stewart (Bella), Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) traipsed down the premiere carpet to usher in the latest Saga installment, and as with each year, they put a new spin on their event wear.
So, now that the five premieres are done, which look stands out as the best for each of the four?
Hit the slideshow to refresh on what Meyer and the “Twi-fecta” wore to each premiere and then see if you agree with this analysis!
Kristen Stewart: She certainly made the biggest statement this year with her nude (which made her almost literally nude) Zuhair Murad dress, but there was also a bit of symbolism to be seen with some of her other choices. Her white Elie Saab dress from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse‘s premiere was a nice homage to the hot and cold nature of her character’s love triangle in the movie, and her Twilight Balenciaga dress was very color appropriate for the occasion.
Robert Pattinson: The heartthrob made a nice turnaround from his all black suit and mussed hair from the Twilight premiere by the time The Twilight Saga: New Moon‘s rolled around. By then, he’d linked up with his now favorite Gucci and made the simple black tie look work for him. The green The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 suit which he helped design was a pleasant surprise as well, matching up nicely with his maroon choice for Eclipse.
Taylor Lautner: The guy looked like something off That ’70s Show for the Twilight premiere, but ever since, he’s gotten his suit-wearing business down to an exact science. While they’ve all been lovely ever since premiere two, his Eclipse premiere ensemble from Gucci was very attractive.
Stephenie Meyer: Her best look came along this year, with her button-down blouse, flattering waist belt and ornate mermaid skirt, but Meyer was also pretty stunning at The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1‘s premiere and had some major personality going on with New Moon‘s. Her Eclipse dress was not good, but that may be because it took place on a hot June afternoon, which made it a whole different fashion ball game.
