Girls Night Out – Thursday, November 8th from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Rd. in Depew. This Buffalo Spree magazine presentation benefits Child and Family Services’ Haven House with an evening of shopping, cocktails, food and more. Paint the Town – Friday, November 9th from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society, One Museum Ct. in Buffalo. The event will feature a wide range of artists with ties to the Buffalo region; their works will be on view and auctioned during the reception. Share the Bounty – Friday through Sunday, November 9th through 11th at participating wineries on the Niagara Wine Trail. This year, each winery will have different charges for tastings – this is not a ticketed event; tasting fees will be designated for different charities at each winery. Harvest Wine Weekends – Friday through Sunday, November 9th through 11th at participating wineries of Lake Erie Wine Country (November 2nd through 4th weekend sold out). Tickets are $35 per person and include a food and wine sample at each winery, a pewter wine bottle coaster, a recipe booklet, a Lake Erie Wine Country wine glass and a $5 voucher to use at any winery or certain restaurants listed. Cause for Mass Appeal – Saturday, November 10th beginning at 6 p.m. at the Church at Evergreen, 262 Georgia St. in Buffalo. This New York City-style fashion event brings together designers, artists and performers from the Buffalo area in an evening to benefit the Elmwood Village Association and Evergreen Health Services. Ellicottville Beer and Wine Festival – Saturday, November 10th from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Holiday Valley’s Yodeler Lodge in Ellicottville. Sample a number of hand-crafted beers from some of the best New York State and American craft breweries, plus wines from New York, Southern Ontario and Ellicottville wineries and vineyards, and Big Leg Emma will be performing live. Keuka Holidays – Saturday and Sunday, November 10th and 11th and November 17th and 18th at participating wineries on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. Tickets are $37 per person or $57 per couple (designated drivers tickets also available) and include food and wine sampling at each winery, plus a handmade grapevine wreath at your starting winery and commemorative ornaments at each stop.
