In season 3, episode 7 of “The Walking Dead,” Michonne is outside the prison gates with Rick staring at her, wondering if he should let her in. She brought the formula for the baby, but Rick has no clue why she is bringing it instead of Glenn and Maggie. Soon, the zombies figure out that she is not one of them and they begin to surround her. She fights some of them off, but she is injured from when Merle shot her in the leg and begins losing her balance. When she passes out, Rick and Carl begin shooting at the walkers. They realize she hasn’t been bit, but was shot and bring her into the prison.
Once inside, Michonne is debating whether to trust Rick and his group or not. As she reaches for her sword, Rick kicks it away. They do not know her intentions and must keep the group safe until they know how she found them and why she came. Rick’s questioning is interrupted by Daryl, who reveals that Carol did not die and is alive. They all embrace and she meets the baby for the first time. Then, she realizes that Lori did not make it. It was a bittersweet moment for fans of “The Walking Dead.”
Michonne finally tells Rick about Woodbury, the Governor, as well as Maggie and Glenn being kidnapped. They are unaware that Merle is alive and he is the one who took Glenn and Maggie. They arrange a task force to go to the town and rescue their friends with the help of Michonne.
Before they leave, Rick attempts to talk to Carl about having to shoot his own mother, but Carl is acting tough and changes the subject. He talks to Rick about a real name for the baby instead of the nickname “A**kicker.” Carl wants to name her Judith, after his third grade teacher and Rick agrees that it is a nice name for his new daughter.
Rick and a few members of the group, along with Michonne, start hiking to get to Woodbury, but a horde of zombies surrounds them when they are halfway there. They find a cabin and hide out in there, where there is a crazy man hiding underneath some blankets. The man threatens to call the police and starts freaking out. He goes to open the door, but Michonne kills him before he can let the zombies in. Then, they distract the walkers by throwing the dead man’s body out for them to feast on while they quietly escape through the back door.
Soon, they reach Woodbury where guards are on duty. At the end of season 3, episode 7 of “The Walking Dead,” they are trying to find a way in to the town to rescue Glenn and Maggie. Will they be able to rescue them or will they be caught?
