On Nov. 15, The CW released a new sneak peek preview and a set of promotional photos for “The Vampire Diaries” season 4, episode 7 “My Brother’s Keeper.” Spoiler alert – turn away now if you don’t want to see what’s coming up on the show.
The preview (seen below, left) begins with Stefan telling Damon what Delena fans have been hoping to hear since the beginning of the season, “Elena and I broke up.” Damon has the courtesy of containing his joy and simply answers, “Oh.”
Next, preview viewers hear Elena saying that ever since she became a vampire, her feelings for Damon became more intense.
Then, fans watch as Stefan tells Damon, “Let’s not pretend this isn’t the best day of your life.” Again, Damon refrains from gloating or smirking and maintains a serious expression.
The preview ends with Elena calling down the stairs to Damon. She tells them that they need to talk.
Unfortunately, fans have to wait two long weeks to find out what Elena will say to Damon. Is she ready to throw herself into a new relationship so soon after the demise of another? Will Damon even want to jump into a relationship with Elena only days after she broke his brother’s heart? November 29 can’t come soon enough!
The synopsis for this episode reads:
THE MISS MYSTIC FALLS PAGEANT — Caroline does her best to be there for Stefan and Elena in a tough time. Damon tries to convince Stefan to help him uncover Prof. Shane’s motives, but Stefan is intent on carrying out a different plan with Klaus. At the annual Miss Mystic Falls Pageant, Elena and Caroline give April advice on which dress to wear, while Tyler and Hayley work together on a secret project, and Damon confronts Prof. Shane with his suspicions. Alarmed by the vivid nightmares he’s having, Jeremy turns to Matt for help, but the situation escalates sooner than anyone expected. Olympic Gold Medalist Gabrielle Douglas also makes an appearance.
