Ybor City – Dec. 14 & 15
Ybor celebrates the season with its annual Winter Carnival and Parade, with evening festivities beginning at 7pm on Friday. Saturday, Dec. 15 events include the “Saturday Market” at Centennial Park on 8th Avenue starting around 9am; the Cupcake Festival, also at the market at Centennial Park, 9am. The Winter Carnival continues all day Saturday, 12 noon to 2am, with the Parade starting at 7pm on 7th Avenue. More information is available at this link.

The Sunlake Baptist Church of Lutz is presenting their annual Christmas Play at 11am Sunday at the church complex at 18908 Sunlake Blvd., just north of the Sunlake Bl. intersection with North Dale Mabry. More information can be found here.

St. Andrews Methodist Church presents their annual Christmas Cantata at the main church auditorium & sanctuary beginning at 8:15am, also at 9:45am and 11:15am. St. Andrews is at the corner of Bryan Rd. and Bloomingdale in Brandon. More information is available here.
St. Petersburg, FL Sunday Dec. 16
The Island Singers and Second Wind are presenting their free Christmas Cantata at The Palladium, 253 Fifth Ave. N., in St. Petersburg at 3pm and 7pm. These two concerts are free and open to the public. For Palladium location information and parking, click this link.

Downtown Tampa has a number of activities taking place this weekend, which can be found at this link. Among those most noteworthy are the Plant Museum’s Victorian Stroll ($13 for adults), and the Holiday Crafts event at the Downtown Public Library on Ashley Drive (free, open to public – for children) from 11am to 12 noon on Saturday.
