Los Angeles’ acropolis of consumerism, The Beverly Center Mall will turn into a winter wonderland of sales and excitement on Friday, Nov. 23 offering free parking, a celebrity-style Red Carpet experience, a high energy lounge and much more.
The mega mall is geared up for shoppers with an enchanted Ice Palace—a production in collaboration with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment that offers explorers an exclusive first-look at footage from the upcoming film “Ice Age Continental Drift,” that debuts Dec. 11th on DVD and Blu-rayTM. The 30-foot, two-story Ice Palace, located on level six, features a 30-foot ice dome incorporating falling snow, a light show, the beloved herd of prehistoric characters from the movie on large screen television monitors, and much more.
Visitors can venture through the Ice Palace in search of Ice Age character Scrat’s missing acorns culminating with a visit to Santa Claus. The area also features interactive globes showcasing Ice Age character Scat’s endless acorn catching mission; fall snow, snow-covered trees and of course Santa Claus.
Get ready to roll on Black Friday and shop ‘til you drop with free parking sponsored by Samsung. There’s actually a Samsung Galaxy™ Studio, located on level 6 between Bloomingdale’s and Center Court, which will also be hosting a variety of giveaways for visitors all day long on Black Friday.
