Turkey gobbled up and stores conquered? Head out to Eden Park on Saturday for some great family fun. The Cincinnati Art Museum offers up a world class collection of art and one of the highlights is the Cincinnati Wing. Featuring galleries packed with all things “Cincinnati”, you can explore the fine art to come from this community through the years with a wide variety of paintings, silver, furniture and Rookwood Pottery. Elsewhere in the galleries, over 6,000 years of treasures await you, from a mummy, to Monet and Picasso, to Pinocchio greeting you as you arrive!
The lower level is home to Art World. Open on weekends, the hands-on center for youth features several activities to keep youngsters engaged. On your way in, pick up a family activity sheet or find out when the next family tour is.
This weekend, Madcap Puppets return with “The Cinderella Files”. For decades, Madcap’s larger than life puppets have been bringing smiles to area children. On Saturday, they perform at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The Krohn Conservatory is another of Eden Park’s treasures and this institution shines during the holidays. Inside, “The Return of Trains, Trestles and Traditions” featuring those trains we’ve all come love to as they wind around miniature versions of famous Cincinnati buildings. The conservatory itself dates back to 1933 and is an Art Deco jewel and you’ll want to have your family picture taken in front of the impressive poinsettia tree.
Stop in “Santa’s Green Workshop” for family fun and make a keepsake from eco-friendly materials.

Admission fee: Adults $6, Seniors $5, Children (5-12) $4, (Children 4 and under free) An unlimited access pass is available for $10 so you can return throughout the season.

Eden Park itself is lovely with many spots to stroll and take in river views. Mirror Lake is a favorite stop and the adjacent gazebo is another great spot for a family photo.
