Sam’s Club in Watertown, N. Y. will celebrate their new photo center by partnering this month with the Jefferson County SPCA to provide pet parents with holiday photos. During November, the digital photo department from Sam’s Club will visit the shelter to take pictures of pets, and pets with their owners.
Christmas pictures are a fun and popular way to include your dogs and cats, as well as other small pets, in the merriment of the season. So, whether or not you dress Fido or Fluffy in a Santa hat or red bow, come join in the fun.
Sam’s Club will be at the SPCA every Friday from 3 p. m. to 7 p. m. and Saturday from 12:30 p. m. to 4:30 p. m. No appointment is necessary, but be sure to bring your pet’s shot records for the safety and well-being of all the animals present. The cost is a $5.00 donation to benefit the shelter. A great idea for lovely keepsakes for doting pet parents, the 5 x 7 photos also make nice holiday gifts.
Also, in the spirit of the season, consider donating something very precious to this wonderful organization: the gift of your time. The SPCA will soon be opening a satellite office at Petco and is very much in need of dependable volunteers to help cover shifts. Volunteers would need to sign up for a day and time and show up as promised. If unable to follow through on a given day, volunteers would be asked to contact the SPCA immediately in order for them to locate a replacement. Interested individuals may contact staff by email at firstname.lastname@example.org for additional details.
