Only ten more days separate many “Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2” fans until the movie’s premiere, and this Monday, November 5, actors and couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart sat down to talk on televised interviews about the promo cast tour and the new “twist” ending to the “Twilight Saga.”
Kristen Stewart met with Jay Leno on the “Tonight Show” this Monday night while boyfriend Robert Pattinson was busy doing his own promo interview with Jimmy Kimmel on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Each interview are important parts of their worldwide promo cast tour that have no doubt helped fellow vampire fans get even more excited for the release of the final installment to the epic series, “Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2.”
Both the talented Edward Cullen and Bella Swan actors talked about leaving the “Twilight Saga” movie set as a bittersweet experience. Although both have said that they are ready to move on with their lives and careers away from “Twilight,” the friendships they have made with the cast and the memories they have gained.
“I just got back from Tokyo (on the ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2’) tour,” Kristen Stewart explained in her interview with Jay Leno that went charmingly well. “I really enjoyed the sense of space there with the fans.”
Robert Pattinson similarly enjoyed himself on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and was his humorous self as he carefully avoided the politically loaded questions on voting for the upcoming presidential election.
As for the surprise new ending “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer hinted in recent months, Stewart revealed that it was a bit of a shocker.
“[The twist ending] is so shocking, to be honest. I couldn’t be more inside of it. I couldn’t be more in the loop. Every time I see it or think about it, I get giddy. It freaks me out for ‘Breaking Dawn.’”
Kristen Stewart, like Robert Pattinson, however, did not want fans to worry too much about the novel being a total change from the original novel’s text.
“If you read the book, we’re not straying too far from it in ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2.’ We are still very faithful to the details. It would be easy for many fans to just skip over,” she added, “but it is possible to see the root of our little twist ending to the movie.”
“And I wouldn’t call it an alternate ending,” “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer reassured fans in another recent interview with E! News. “The new ending is something we knew and wanted to be cracked in a way … to surprise fans. It’s offscreen a bit because it’s only what Bella sees … It does feel very surprising, though, so it will be definitely something to see.”
“Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2” is set to sink its glistening fangs into U.S. theaters this November 16, so keep your amber eyes open for the awaited finale of the great franchise.
