Mason Treadwell: “So that’s it then? The past is past for Amanda Clarke?”
Amanda: “I’m not going to jeopardize my family for simple payback. Others will eventually pick up the torch to expose the Graysons for the frauds they really are.”

The Stowaway is reopened! Because of this, it would make sense that the storyline would get more entertaining, but it really doesn’t. Honestly either the writers need to stop letting this storyline take up so much time, or they need to throw some giant twist to make it exciting to watch. The most exciting things that happen are that someone suggests that Kenny may not be as nice as he sounds, and Jack proposes to Amanda. Speaking of the happy couple, when will Jack realize that anytime he brings up the past, he is the one who does all the talking about it? At some point he should realize that Amanda’s memory isn’t all that great. Did you enjoy the Stowaway and company storyline?
Mason Treadwell is back on the case! He is definitely one of the smarter players out there because of his journalist background. Plus, he always is underestimated, making the fact that he is the first to figure out Emily’s secret even better. What is still confusing is how Emily framing Conrad is supposed to take down Mason. There isn’t even a moment where it looks like that will happen. There could have been a reference or two about Mason’s future or demise. Instead, the whole thing ends up putting Mason back on the Amanda Clarke track. Are you surprised that Mason figured it out?
Here are quick thoughts on elsewhere in the episode. The Padma problem is built up to be this big issue, but it looks like Nolan has resolved it. Hopefully this will turn into something interesting for Nolan to do, and it would be great to have Emily helping him out some more. Padma still appears untrustworthy, and it is hard to believe that she suddenly realized that she made a mistake asking for David Clarke’s contract. What is really interesting is Aidan’s theory about Ashley. There needs to be some proof, at least shown to the viewers, that Aidan is right about suspecting Ashley. Right now she is still somewhat loyal to both Conrad and Daniel, or maybe perhaps she is playing them both. What did you think of the episode?
