As the year draws to a close, let’s look back, and feel satisfied with all the events we partook in to help create lasting memories for our; Families, Students, and Children in our care, and look forward to creating new ones.

Starved Rock, State Park in Utica, Illinois, is a great way to experience, Bald Eagles, this Winter, as they migrate to the open waters of this area for nesting purposes, if you are lucky, you will get to experience these magnificent birds. A fabulous place to experience art classes, or family workshops, Lillstreet Art Center, is the place for you and is worth looking into. Check the web-site at www.lillstreet.com.
For local outdoor exploration, a few favorites include; The Grove National Historic Landmark, in Glenview; www.glenviewparks.org. Another winter activity is, Lake Geneva Winterfest and U.S. Snow Sculpting Competition, which is held the first weekend in February, and includes many activities, throughout the City and the Lake Geneva Grand Resort, makes for a nice day trip or easy weekend get-away; For more information on this event, check-out the web-site at www.travelwisconsin.com.
