Listed below is the report for Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012. The report includes a complete list of arrests, prior arrests, bonding information and inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.
Barbara Delores Alexander, 54, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Martin and charged with felony obstruction of an officer, simple battery on an officer and felony aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Alexander was released on 11/26 on three OT bonds totaling $4,200.
John Hoyt Brown, 50, of Aragon was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Wells and charged with possession of cocaine, trafficking cocaine, abandonment of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects and littering. Horacio Gabriel Gonzalez, 35, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Nicholson and charged with driving without a license and failure to yield right of way. Gonzalez was released the same day after boonding out through the Cedartown Police Department. See also (8/18/2012)
Wesley Thomas Hardin, 26, of Buchanan was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Borders and charged with defective equipment, failure to use turn signal, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and obstruction of an officer. Hardin remains in custody at the time of this publication. Four property bonds totaling $7,100 have been set
Torrey Lashawn Hutchins, 34, of Lindale was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Wells and charged with speeding, possession of cocaine, trafficking cocaine, abandonment of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute. Six property bonds totaling $78,100 have been set, however; Hutchins remains in custody at the time of this publication pending a probation hold and a parole violation hearing.
Robert Edward Lee III, 40, of Buchanan was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Anderson and charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction, public drunk and criminal trespass with damage. Allison Leigh McLeod, 26, of Rome was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Borders and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. McLeod remains in custody at the time of this publication. A cash fine of $928 has been set.
Christopher Alan Mobbs Jr., 30 of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Short on a warrant for failure to appear in municipal court. Mobbs remains in custody at the time of this publication.
