Listed below is the report for Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. The report includes a complete list of arrests, prior arrests, bonding information and inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.
Melissa Ann Baldwin, 26, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Borders and charged with battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Baldwin was released the same day on a $600 bond.
Jeffrey Lawrence Bishop, 41, of Powder Springs was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Anderson and charged with DUI, fleeing/attempting to elude, reckless driving and two counts speeding. Bishop remains in custody at the time of this publication. Five property bonds totaling $4,370 have been set.
Apolonia Campos-Gonzalez, 42, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Anderson and charged with violating the move over law, failure to maintain lane, defective equipment, driving on a suspended license and speeding. Campos-Gonzalez was released the same day after posting four property bonds totaling $3,890. See also (5/4/2011)
Jeri Dotson, 48, of was arrested by Polk County Deputy Alexander for violation of a good behavior bond. Dotson was released on 11/16 after paying a $500 cash bond.
Paris B. Johnson, 45 of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Zuker and charged with contempt of court regarding child support and failure to appear in municipal court. Johnson remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (4/11/2012)
Sara Selene McCain, 48, of Chattanooga was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Stoup and charged with two counts of theft by shoplifting. McCain was released on 11/16 after posting two property bonds totaling $2,100.
Josue Mendez, 29, of was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Wood and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Cedric D. Nicholson, 38, of Rome was arrested by Aragon Police Officer Riley and was charged with driving on a suspended license, improper tag and no insurance. Nicholson was released on 11/16 after bonding out through the Aragon Police Department.
Raydel Martes Portalatin, 49, of was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Anderson and charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, driving on the wrong side of roadway and two counts of speeding. Portalatin was released the same day after posting five property bonds totaling $1,490.
Luis Alberto Ramirez, 21, of was arrested by Cedartown Police Officers Short and McClendon and charged with DUI, driving while unlicensed and a stop sign violation. Ramirez was released the same day after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department.
Kenneth William Reeves Jr., 26, of Rockmart was arrested by Polk County Sheriff’s Deputy Eason on a warrant for deposit account fraud. Reeves remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (3/30/2012) (7/11/2010) (11/5/2009)
