Thanksgiving is Thursday, Nov. 22 and if you are still making final meal plans, keep in mind there is always help available if you need it. Many Salt Lake restaurants and catering facilities will help you out with parts and pieces of the meal or the entire spread. Get desserts from Penny Ann’s Café and Vinto and the rest of the meal from Pinon Café & Market and Cuisine Unlimited if needed. Just imagine, no cooking but you still get the leftovers!
Penny Ann’s Café
Perhaps the most important item on any Thanksgiving meal is dessert! Pie, pie and more pie. If this all-important component just isn’t worth the risk of making at home, have Penny Ann’s Café make yours perfect for you.
Penny Ann’s has special seasonal pies including pumpkin, apple crumble and sweet potato with pecan topping in addition to all the regular options like banana cream, chocolate mousse, coconut cream, key lime, lemon raspberry cream and peppermint cream.
Order your nine-inch whole pies for $15 each ($17 for the sweet potato). Pies can be picked up until 4 p.m. on Wed. Nov. 21. Place you order by calling 801-935-4760.
Vinto is offering housemade gelato in five flavors: bourbon pecan, vanilla, salted caramel, cranberry orange sorbetto and pumpkin stracciatella for $6 a pint. Orders must be placed by Mon., Nov. 19 and can be picked up in Salt Lake or Park City on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Pinon Market & Café
Pinon Market & Café’s Chef Victoria Topham can prep Thanksgiving for you. Turkeys can be ordered either cooked ($7.99/lb) or uncooked ($5.99/lb). The uncooked birds come trussed, seasoned, and with fresh herbs and butter under the skin. They come in disposable roasting pans with complete instructions and a meat thermometer. Side dishes are available by the pound and include potatoes, squash, dressings, sauces, chutneys and homemade rolls. A wide variety of her specialty desserts are also offered. Also, if you have vegans or gluten-free diners joining you, Pinon Market is skilled at preparing delicious items that meet these dietary needs.
This year Pinon is offering a stuffed turkey split breast for two. Also a split boneless turkey breast for smaller families or for families that have only a few diners that enjoy meat. These are available cooked or oven ready ($9.99/lb. and $11.99/lb.).

Cuisine Unlimited will deliver a full Thanksgiving meal (or any pieces and parts you need) to your door. For the entire meal, prices are $32.50 per person with a minimum of 10 people; $38.50 per person if less than 10. You can find their full Thanksgiving menu here or have them prepare just the turkey for you for $100.
Delivery to your door in the Salt Lake valley is $40. Park City is $55. Pick up or delivery is available from 9 am to noon on Thanksgiving Day or from 9 am to 5 pm the day before.
