Anyone who watches “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” knows Brandi Glanville is not the biggest fan of singer LeAnn Rimes. But now, Brandi Glanville is reportedly furious over her claims that one of LeAnn Rimes’s errant pills, specifically laxatives, sickened her young son Mason, who ate it thinking it was candy.
Of Rimes, Glanville told Radar Online this week, “I know that my kids love her, and I know that she’s upset. I, unfortunately, don’t find her to be stable, and I don’t want her around my kids when Eddie’s not there — or at least the nanny, his parents, someone … God forbid anything ever happened between her and Eddie. She uses my children as a tool to get to me, and I don’t know if she cares about them the way that Eddie thinks she does.”

Eddie Cibrian also gave a statement to Radar Online, stating, “It is absolutely ridiculous that my ex-wife continues to put the personal lives of myself, LeAnn, our sons and my family on public display for the sake of her notoriety.”
The statement continued, “My wife, LeAnn, continues to be a loving and positive influence on the lives of my sons. They are without a doubt lucky to have her.”
Still, Brandi Glanville insists her children may be at risk, and wants them supervised when Rimes is with them. “LeAnn has a severe eating disorder,” she told Radar Online. “She has a laxative in every purse. Mason found one on the floor and thought it was a Skittle.” Glanville explained that Rimes and Cibrian “don’t keep any sugar in the house” and that her nine-year-old son thought he had “finally found candy”. The boy was reportedly sickened by the laxatives, which, if true, would naturally terrify and anger any mother.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 3 cast member also says Rimes is lacking in other areas where basic safety is concerned, especially in regards to innocent but potentially dangerous activities like bike-riding; Glanville claims Rimes doesn’t insist on helmets and allows the children to ride on busy roads known for their high-accident potential. “They don’t realize they’re in danger,” Glanville said. “Leann loves them, but she’s endangering them. And what if he ate more than two laxatives? It’s just not OK.” (Read more of Brandi’s claims about LeAnn Rimes to Radar Online here.)
Cibrian holds the position that his wife simply wants to be in the tabloid headlines, thriving off the gossip her situation brings. In her brief “RHOBH” tenure, Glanville has been more than willing to discuss how she left her ex-husband, actor Eddie Cibrian, after learning he cheated on her with popular but troubled Rimes. Rimes and Cibrian married recently; Glanville and Cibrian share custody.
It’s quite clear that Glanville feels Rimes has all too quickly taken over the role of step-mom (or “bonus mom”, as Cibrian and Rimes reportedly call Rimes) since marrying Glanville’s former man. But are the kids really be in danger? Let’s hope not; if they are, let’s hope something takes place to restore harmony and safety to the lives of those innocent children soon!
