Justin Bieber avoided one scuffle with a reporter when it was announced today by TMZ that he won’t be charged with misdemeanor battery for the May incident in Calabasas, Calif.. A photographer had claimed that he was accosted by Justin on the street, and filed a police report after dialing 911. The L.A. District Attorney’s office will not pursue the matter further due to, “conflicting witness accounts and an overall lack of evidence”. Now the singer finds himself embroiled in a Hollywood tabloid breakup scandal, as all eyes are on him and Selena Gomez to find out whether the couple is back together or not. The speculation is so rampant that one website created an online poll to see what public opinion is about the pair’s relationship status. All this scrutiny must be causing increased pressure on the young star, and it may be starting to show as evidenced by another confrontation between Bieber and a member of the paparazzi in L.A. this past weekend.
Entertainmentwise is reporting today that the answer as to whether 19 year-old Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, 20, are back together changes from day to day. They decided to find out what their readers thought, with rather shocking results.
A “whopping” 80 percent responded that the couple’s relationship is “over”, while just 10 percent felt they were destined to be “together forever”. The remaining votes were split with 6 percent answering “don’t know”, and 4 percent saying “I neither don’t care, or know who they are”.
All these extra prying eyes in the wake of his breakup with Selena Gomez just may be getting to Justin.
On Tuesday Bieber was tweeting with Oprah regarding his upcoming interview with her, when she apparently made comparisons between Michael Jackson and him and the difficulties of life in the spotlight. Justin wrote back, “Growing up in front of everyone is not easy”.
Of course then there’s the incident in July where Bieber tried to flee a paparazzo by speeding away at 80 miles per hour before the two were stopped by police. Justin escaped with just a speeding ticket thanks to blaming the reporter’s chasing him for his reckless driving.
Now a video is surfacing which shows Justin purposely creating a traffic jam on a busy road in L.A. Saturday, as he pulls up next to a photographer to confront him. Watch the video here to see how frustrated motorists had to exit their vehicles and plead with him to move out of the way.
Channel24 writes that Justin, “has admitted it isn’t easy coping with all the attention surrounding his reconciliation with Selena Gomez”. Surely it isn’t but hopefully he won’t spin out of control over it and start beating up photographers. Of course, he’d probably have to grow up a little more first.
