Something does not ring true in this custody battle between Halle Berry, her ex-Gabriel Aubry, and her current fiancé Olivier Martinez. CNN reported on Nov. 27, 2012, “Halle Berry battles ex again over daughter.” And today, Nov. 28, 2012, People magazine revealed “Halle Berry’s Unhappy Endings,” with photos of the men in her life who have come and gone. The “he said” and “she said” is getting complex. Now that Children’s Protective Services has entered the scene, one must ask: Why all this rage? Mothers will go to any extreme to protect a child whom they think is in danger. But a new report portrays her as a schemer who had Martinez provoke the battle with Aubry according to Fox News Latino. Halle Berry’s lawyers returned to court Tuesday to ask a Los Angeles judge to keep her child’s father away from their daughter because of a Thanksgiving Day fight with Berry’s fiance.
The father, model Gabriel Aubry, claimed in a court filing Monday that the fiance, Olivier Martinez, ambushed him when he was dropping the daughter, 4-year-old Nahla, at Berry’s Hollywood Hills home.
Police arrested Aubry, 37, and charged him with misdemeanor battery, but he insisted he was not the aggressor in the fistfight, which sent him to a hospital. . . If such cameras exist it could be a game changer.
Although Fox News reported “Halle Berry’s Ex Gabriel Aubry Claims Actress and Spanish Fiance Planned Fight,” their source was the questionable gossip Perez Hilton.
RadarOnline reveals that Child Protective Services is involved
The L.A. County Department of Child Protective Services will be formally re-opening an abuse investigation involving Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry’s daughter, Nahla, following the Thanksgiving brawl between her father, Gabriel Aubry, and her mother’s current boyfriend, French actor Olivier Martinez, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
“Detectives from the LAPD formally contacted CPS after Gabe’s arrest, because Nahla was present when the fight occurred,” a source close to the situation tells Radar exclusively.
What’s next in this family drama?
Given this turn of events, it would seem that a court appointed guardian should be made available for little Nahla. Additionally all parties involved in this angry mess perhaps should be sent immediately into anger management and parenting skills classes. In the best interest of the child, they need to learn the meaning of forgiveness.
