Having been HACKED, my computer was dry with information, though I am sure someone else was filled with nothing but boring middle aged white girl data.
This kind violation, however, happens less frequently then say, a friendly neighborhood squabble where one law abiding citizen pulls a gun out!
Since the Newtown Shooting; guns and their owners have been on the hot seat. They have made themselves known all about the social ‘not always reputable’ media sites.
The very first gun was invented in 500 a.d. by the Chinese. It was similar to what we would call a Hand Canon and not very accurate.
Isn’t it ironic that the very first projectile firearm was made in China?
Since that birth and certainly more recently there have been 165,000,000 deaths since 1998 directly caused by the use of a firearm. Now that is a Massacre of Epic Proportions.
In America alone, 88.8 firearms per 100 persons are issued and owned. We are the highest ranking villains in the world when it comes to being armed and ready. Not only that but with just a little research one can also find that since Columbine there have been 82 mass school shootings. And, a majority of those shootings have taken place on U.S., soil.
Scary, scary, scary stuff!
Doomsday the gun, however, probably not. Long after the climate has warmed up and the polar ice caps have melted there will still be some foolish person with a strange twist on what justice is, carrying a gun.
In New Hampshire:
*Like its neighbors (Vermont and Maine), New Hampshire has very liberal gun control laws. What makes New Hampshire law on gun unique however, is the level to which these laws exhibit such looseness. Most states with sub-standard gun control laws, do not require a permit or license to purchase or possess a handgun or rifle.
**oddly enough NH is ranked very low in the nation for violennt crimes.
So indeed, guns will never be banned. There will be no Doomsday Prediction for the NRA. We are too self-righteous a society.
Perhaps the Chaos, Panic and Disorder is not in the actual owning of the gun but in the media frenzy designed specifically to promote said ownership?
As social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc., fill their pages with repeated sightings on Gun Ownership. As we mindless discover ourselves forgetting what is truly right or wrong. We may fall back into the same bad habit of putting a stop sign up after the accident has happened.
Doomsday is coming NH get out the sticks and stones and leave the guns behind!
