FOX already announced their mid-season 2013 premiere dates for new series like the highly anticipated The Following, but today the network has unveiled its entire winter schedule, including the slated returns of current on-air fan favorites like Fringe and Raising Hope.
Read on for all of the important dates and times and be sure to get your DVRs ready!
Sunday, January 6th 2013 will see the post-holiday hiatus return of FOX’s Animation Domination block starting at 8 p.m. The Simpsons. Through to the 10 p.m. hour will be as follows: Bob’s Burgers at 8:30 p.m., Family Guy at 9 p.m., and American Dad at 9:30 p.m. The Cleveland Show returns to this Animation Domination block at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 13th 2013.
Tuesday, January 8th 2013 sees the return of the Tuesday night comedy block with Raising Hope at 8 p.m., Ben and Kate at 8:30 p.m., New Girl at 9 p.m., and The Mindy Project at 9:30 p.m.
Wednesday, January 9th 2013 will see the two-hour special event reality program called Stars in Danger: The High Dive. Yes, this exactly how it sounds: celebrities from all walks and mediums will compete against each other in a diving program.
Then on Friday, January 11th 2013, Fringe will begin its final chapter at 9 p.m. It’s 100th episode and two-hour series finale will air the following week, on the 18th, at the special time of 8 p.m.
Monday, January 14th 2013 will see the two-hour winter premiere of Bones starting in the 8 p.m. hour.
American Idol, as previously reported, will premiere in two-hour chunks over two nights, starting on January 16th 2013 and concluding the following evening, the 17th, both in the 8-10 p.m. time slot. These are the initial audition rounds, including the introduction of new judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and Keith Urban.
In order to ease fans into Kevin Williamson’s dark new serial killer drama The Following, FOX will air a special half hour “Inside The Following” program on Saturday, January 19th 2013 at midnight. The series actually premieres on January 21st 2013 at 9 p.m.
Glee will return on January 24th 2013 at 9 p.m., following the one-hour installment of American Idol.
Kitchen Nightmares returns on Friday, January 25th 2013 at 8 p.m., followed by a special encore of The Following.
And finally, Touch will premiere its second season in a special two-hour premiere on Friday, February 8th 2013 at 8 p.m.
