Club Curry is holding their third annual party with a purpose at a Monopoly themed fundraiser Dec. 29. Club Curry, founded by Mark Curry in 2010, hosts entertainment events that benefit charitable causes. The exclusive event will only offer 150 tickets to enjoy entertainment, interactive fundraiser games, live auctions, prizes, music, dancing, food and drinks with proceeds to benefit The Shade Tree women, children and animal shelter. Their goal is raise more than $100,000.
“The support we receive for our events are always overwhelming. All the proceeds from this event will be donated directly to help sustain the Shade Tree shelter in 2013. With our Monopoly theme, guests will get the chance to play along and purchase properties that list all of the costs and description of the Shade Tree’s needs. This classic favorite board game inspires our fundraising efforts so that everyone will win,” said event sponsor Mark Curry.
“We can’t wait for this Club Curry fundraiser,” said Shade Tree Executive Director, Marlene Richter. “The opportunities that will come from the funds raised will help save the lives of so many women and children who have fallen victim to domestic violence and hard times. We are extremely grateful to Mark Curry and the Club Curry team for everything they are doing to support The Shade Tree as we provide a safe shelter to homeless and abused women, children and pets in crisis.”
Event sponsors include The Palazzo Las Vegas, New Vista charity, Body Heat Yoga, Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon, Barre Las Vegas, Franklin Documents, Pico Madama Salon, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Pink Jeep Tour, Nevada Ballet, Phase 1 Sports, Papillon helicopters, House of RYU, God’s Jewelry, Frenzy Fashion Boutique, Mary Kay and Sambalatte.
Last year, Club Curry New Year’s Eve Ultimate Party with a Purpose raised more than $100,000 for the Camp to Belong Nevada Child Focus, Inc.
The Shade Tree began in Las Vegas as Jubilee Ministries to serve abused and homeless women and children in 1989 and officially became The Shade Tree in 1990.
