With so many choices, one could spend hours trying to decide how to bring in the new year. For Rock and Hip Hop Fans
This is one for all the concerts goers and fans of Cold Play and Brooklyn’s own Jay Z. Close out 2012 and enter 2013 with a concert in Brooklyn’s hottest entertainment space, the Barclays Center.

Don’t want to stay indoors? Head outside to the annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks at Prospect Park. There is a pre-party at Grand Army Plaza, featuring free entertainment, with light refreshments. Organizer recommend locations anywhere in Grand Army Plaza, inside the Park on the West Drive and along Prospect Park West between Grand Army Plaza and 9th Street.
Plan to arrive early to partake of the festivities. Entertainment begins at 11p.m. The fireworks begin at midnight and last approximately 20 minutes. The event is sponsored by Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz.
