After Brandi Glanville explosively reignited her feud with singer LeAnn Rimes on Twitter, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hill” star has stated she wants the conflict to be taken out of the public eye.
“My intention has always been to take care of my children and tend to their well-being,” Glanville told Us Weekly on Dec. 6. “Unfortunately, my ex-husband [Eddie Cibrian, Rimes’ current husband] has not been communicative with me in this regard, so I’ve needed to seek him out publicly…I only get responses when I put it on Twitter. Twitter seems to work.”
Indeed, Glanville has infamously used the social media site to air her frustration toward her ex-husband and his wife.
Just one day before her interview with Us Weekly, RadarOnline reported exclusively on a Dec. 2 email from Cibrian to Glanville that seemingly contradicted Glanville’s claims that social media is her only means of getting in contact with her ex for the sake of their children. The email reads:
“I know your life exists solely for the purpose of living and creating drama. It’s a sad way to live. It’s so obvious that you have to constantly mention my wife so people will care what comes out of your mouth.
One day when wine and narcissism are not consuming you, you will realize how fortunate the kids are to have LeAnn in their life. She is amazing with them, as the kids will 100 percent attest to.
You should be so lucky to one day find someone who will love and respect Mason and Jake as she does. Although, I really don’t know how anyone can put up with your constant bulls**t. No wonder you have lost so many ‘close’ friends.
Grow up already and for once, PUT THE KIDS FIRST!”
Rimes’ rep, Marcel Periseau, had similar sentiments toward Glanville.
“There is only one person constantly speaking to the press and that is Brandi,” Periseau told RadarOnline in a statement. “Why do you think that is? Her whole show is based on controversy, drama and publicity. She is the only one to gain by spewing forth inaccuracies, rants, and half-truths.”
Glanville tweeted that RadarOnline was “BS” following the article and later retweeted an article from RumorFix that questioned Rimes’ behavior during a “bizarre barefoot performance” where the singer also seemed to be directing some frustrations at Glanville.
