A five year study has finally reached a conclusion. The elusive ‘Bigfoot’ or ‘Sasquatch’ has been the hot topic of discussion since a scientific study claims to have discovered it is a living human hybrid. Yes, you heard it right, they claim their findings show this creature that is all wrapped up in folklore and myth is indeed part modern-day human.
How can this be? Did they catch one? The answer is no they did not catch one, but they claim to have found some of a ‘Sasquatch’s’ hair and studied it. Dr. Melba S. Ketchum of Nacogdoches, Texas and her team claim they have sequenced three complete Sasquatch genomes and they determine it is a human hybrid. They admit upfront that the hair is from ‘purported Sasquatch samples’. Purported samples warranted a five year study and they think this is solid? It begs questions.
If they were not sure that the hair samples they tested were in fact from a real-live Sasquatch, then how can they be sure of their findings? To say that there can be such a thing as a human hybrid is a very strong statement. They do admit their findings are still under peer-review. Let’s just hope those peers who are reviewing this information also see the obvious holes in the study.
The rest of the study doesn’t matter much after the hair is suspect, but the five year study is reported to say that the legendary Sasquatch is a human relative who came on the scene 15,000 years ago. They are supposed to be a cross between modern Homo sapiens and an unknown primate species. Really? And they still exist in this form today? Where have they been hiding out? Whom have they been breeding with for 15,000 years?
Ketchum is quoted as saying, ‘Genetically, the Sasquatch are a human hybrid with unambiguously modern human maternal ancestry. Government at all levels must recognize them as an indigenous people and immediately protect their human and Constitutional rights against those who would see in their physical and cultural differences a ‘license’ to hunt, trap, or kill them.’
This seems a good idea maybe on the surface, but has a Sasquatch ever been caught or found? Are they really sure they exist? Is there a whole civilization of these hybrid people out there? Is the general population at risk of them trying to mate with them?
If any part of this study is true, then North American women should beware and lock their doors at night because the study found the Sasquatch is a product of a non-human male mating with a modern human female. Again, where have they been for 15,000 years? How have they survived? Where is this unknown civilization?
When the scientists capture a real live Sasquatch, then the American public will be willing to listen to the findings. Hair found on a tree just isn’t good enough for most people, however interesting the story is. As far as declaring them a ‘recognized indigenous people’, that’s novel, but Americans are wiser than that. We don’t need any more loopholes for tax dollars to fall into at this present time with the fiscal cliff threatening our ‘real’ lives.
