For the entire month of November, Animal Rescue Foundation, Illinois (ARF-IL), a Wheaton-based rescue organization is going Home for the Holidays with an adoption subsidy thanks to some very generous donors! Some very lovely felines may be able to finally find their forever homes – right in time for the holidays!
Featured moms and older cats can join your home for a mere $75. Black cats over the age of four months are a mere $25. When you consider that it costs Animal Rescue Foundation $399 to get a rescue animal ready for adoption, these are truly very good deals.
The $399 covers:
· Spay/neuter cost $170 value
· Rabies vaccine $32 value
· FIV/Feline Leukemia screening $48 value
· Flea treatment $20 value
· AVID microchip $10 value
· Distemper combo booster $28/shot value
· Vet health examination $40 value
· Fecal and ear mite test plus deworming $60 value
· Food costs while being fostered by ARF-IL
While these costs cover all these charges, the regular adoption policies besides some restrictions apply. In order to get the kitty cat of your choice, you will want to go online to www.arf-il.org and fill out the adoption paperwork. You can also view all of the kitties that are in the possession of ARF.
Animal Rescue Foundation has approximately 40 different kitties in their care so you will have great choices to choose from. The cats are all well taken care of and are ready to come to your home right in time for some holiday love.
At the great price that the felines are being offered for, it would be very easy to stuff all of your stockings with a little fluffball for all of your loved ones – what a great gift for those you love! What could be better than to give a furball to everyone important in your life.
ARF-IL is a NO-kill, all-volunteer based, 501(c)(3), non-profit organization that is dedicated to enriching the lives of the animals in their care. These are the same animals that have been abandoned, rejected and neglected. ARF, however, has done this by promoting responsible pet ownership.
ARF continues to make a difference in this world we live in. Since incorporating in 1985 with a small, yet very dedicated group of volunteers, they have obtained forever homes for many, many felines. In 2008 ARF began housing cats at PetSmart in Wheaton.
By 2009 the group spayed or neutered over 800 cats/dogs right in the Chicagoland area, but still primarily in the Western Suburbs. Spotted Paw has helped many felines, including the famous Cuddles, to obtain their forever homes.
Be prepared. This is the season to give. Give a feline to those you love!
