On Wednesday, November 14, event industry specialists alike will converge at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago in a day-long conference to exhibit their pizzazz and share best practices. A power networking luncheon is also scheduled on the agenda.

The BizBash IdeaFest Conference
With something for everyone, the BizBash IdeaFest Conference will allow participants to create their own experiences to best fulfill their learning needs. IdeaFest attendees can choose from three sessions as part of the A.M. Education: the BizBash Boot Camp, the Plan-a-Thon, and the Hands-On Event Design Lab, each moderated by an industry expert. The General Session and Keynote, open to all attendees, will feature Chicago’s own Billy Dec, Noelle Provencial, Experiential Marketing & Events, Groupon; and Haley Carlson. Each expert will share stories and advice on how they transformed their respective industries and events by conceptualizing, selling, promoting, marketing, and executing one-of-a-kind experiences.
The P.M. Education Sessions will offer the choices of Trends in Catering, Chicago’s Top 100 Annual Events Confab, and the Plan-a-Thon Session II, where attendees will re-imagine world-renowned events like the Emmys, the Met Gala and even the Twilight premiere. The IdeaFest Conference will close with the trade show floor, featuring all the inspiration, products, and resources needed to create inspiring events, followed by the Readers’ Choice Awards, where BizBash will celebrate Chicago’s best.
