“American Horror Story: Asylum” returns tomorrow, Nov. 28 on FX.
Right now, things don’t look too good for Lana (Sarah Paulson), who is trapped in Dr. Thredson’s (Zachary Quinto) lair and Kit (Evan Peters) who is in jail, taking the fall for the demented serial killer’s crimes.
According to an “Eonline” spoiler report that was published this morning (Nov. 27), the AHS is currently casting for a set of biracial two-year-old twin girls (to appear in a later episode. So, it seems as if Kit and Alma (Britne Oldford) are going to be proud parents…
Hmm…this certainly makes one wonder about Grace’s (Lizzie Brochere) alien encounter, in which she saw a very pregnant Alma, who encouraged her not to raise a fuss with the aliens so it wouldn’t be so bad…
Just because the twins appear, doesn’t mean they will be real. The world of insanity can produce any number of hallucinations, including two-year-old twins.
Or, is Kit’s entire experience at Briarcliff one huge, elaborate experience as seen in the mind of a person gone mad?
We don’t really know where Alma is, either. Is she really dead? Did Thredson kill her? Or, is she being kept alive by Dr. Arden (James Cromwell) or someone else somewhere at Briarcliff? Or, is she being held captive by aliens?
Furthermore, if the babies are real, does that mean Kit and Alma are going to be reunited and live happily ever after with their two daughters?
The possibilities are endless. Of course, we would love to see the latter, happy ending for poor Kit, who has endured so much through the manipulations of at least two deranged monsters, Dr. Arden and Dr. Thredson (aka Bloody Face).
Here’s the episode summary on the “American Horror Story: Asylum” website, for tomorrow night’s episode, “Dark Cousin”:
“Sister Mary Eunice is terrified to discover a dark angel has descended on Briarcliff. Kit makes a bold move to be reunited with Grace.”
We know the dark angel is going to be returning AHS season one cast member, Frances Conroy. What is her purpose? Is she some sort of angel of death?
From preview clips, it looks like she appears to Sister Jude (Jessica Lange), Grace, and Lana. Is she going to help Lana escape somehow? Or, does her appearance mean that death is the only way out of the horror that these women have become trapped in?
Plus, what does Kit do to try and get back to grace? Does he stage some kind of mental breakdown in an effort to get re-committed to Briarcliff?
One thing is certain, this episode looks extra creepy! As always, we are chomping at the bit to see what happens next!
“American Horror Story: Asylum” airs Wednesdays at 10 PM ET on FX.
