Congratulations are in order for “Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” Phaedra Parks and her husband Apollo Nida. Ayden’s chubby-cheeked arrival in Season 3 was quite the extravaganza. The announcement that they’re expecting a second child gets the wheels turning; we can only wonder how this would impact an upcoming season of RHOA. Though no official word has been given that the ladies will be renewed for a sixth go-round, we can’t help but imagine how Parks’ second pregnancy would impact the show. Some ideas…
Phaedra doesn’t have to “hide” her actual due date.
Perhaps fearing consternation from her religious family about conceiving before marriage, in Season 3, Parks was a little evasive about how far along she actually was. This time around, probing questions about the expectant mother’s date of conception are unnecessary.
The Wrath of Kenya (A RHOA Sophomore?)
As we’ve seen thus far this season, things aren’t working out too well with Walter and Kenya Moore. Assuming that her brand of crazy is sufficient for a return in Season 6, we may begin to hear her biological clock ticking. Will the sassy lawyer’s pregnancy make Kenya even more eager to become a wife and mother? Should we expect a verbal showdown? Or did the beauty queen learn not to mess with Phaedra (or her man) down there in Anguilla?
The Return of Kim Zolciak?
There are whisperings that the foul-mouthed, wig-loving bombshell may return for another season. She admits that not having a baby on board would certainly make a difference; she’d go right back to being the same feisty character to which fans are accustomed. But has she done too much damage to the group? Though she’d be a ratings earner, she might not be welcomed by the ladies. For all intents and purposes, they appear to be in a good place for once, comfortable with their professional lives and their mates. Kim’s return could wreak potential havoc.
Kandi and Phaedra: BFFs/Business Buddies?
You probably noticed that Kandi and Phaedra seem to have tightened their friendship since last season. The entertainment lawyer seems to like being Burruss’ guinea pig for her line of adult products. Perhaps the two of them can partner to produce a line of sexy marital aids for the expectant couple. That would certainly be a mutually lucrative business venture.
Baby Booties and Ballet
As the self-proclaimed Southern Belle hits the airwaves in full bloom, you can probably expect celebrations just as grandiose as the Kentucky Derby Baby Shower Ballet crafted by none other than Dwight Eubanks. And if we find out that Parks is having a Phaedra mini-me, go ahead and double the haberdashery and tomfoolery that baby’s entrance is sure to demand.
